Group 2 Support Surfaces - Pressure Relief Systems

Pressure relief systems are support surfaces which provide surface interface pressures below capillary closing (32 mm Hg). These systems are generally dynamic (powered) providing either low air-loss therapy or alternating pressure therapy. National Wound Care has a complete line of Pressure Relief Systems that provide both these therapies, as well as additional kinetic therapies. These products are effective in treating Stage II to Stage IV pressure ulcers.

Pressure reduction mattresses/overlays are surfaces that reduce interface pressure below standard hospital mattress type surfaces (130-160 mm hg). Pressure reduction surfaces have interface pressure between 30-100 mm hg on average. These products include foam mattresses, gel overlays, air-pressure pads, water pads, etc.. National Wound Care provides a complete line of pressure reduction mattresses/overlays to treat and prevent Stage I pressure ulcers.
